Women play very important role in the formation of nation. Men are just like wheels of carts. Women in India are essential section as for as their security and safety is concern. We often come across the example of reporting cases of harassment and ill-treatment of women in the newspaper. 

Women feel unsafe

Women feel unsafe and unsecure and feel that their freedom and liberty are jeopardized. It is unbearable to imagine the plight of women who are suffers of such
crime.

An effective implementation of laws protecting women’s rights is the first step in this direction.

‘1090 Helpline no.’ is formed by the government in India. The fact is that the laws should be followed strictly. And the criminals should be punished.

It is our responsibility to create social awareness about these issues and to create identify those who commit such crimes.

Self defence techniques for women safety

The most effective would be to teach self-defense techniques compulsorily to girls and women in school and colleges, official and residential colonies. Only when these firm measures have been taken India can be become a carefree and enjoyable country for women.
